What does Under Currents Lab mean?
In energy, a current is the flow of electricity. In society, it is the flow of capital, regulation, and ideas. The name reflects the Lab’s focus on tracing these invisible connections, showing how financial incentives, policy choices, and technological shifts interact beneath what headlines reveal.

“Under Currents” signals systems thinking, examining what drives change rather than only describing its outcomes. It captures the project’s method, mapping the underlying movements that shape energy, markets, and governance.​
